Suzuki’s crazy V-twin TLS re-imagined… but with the same bad attitude

Mad, bad and dangerous to know. Meet the Kardesign Suzuki TL1100S koncept

The late 90s was a good time for bikes to blow your mind – there was the incredible Yamaha R1 that finally knocked the sportsbike crown off the FireBlade, the Suzuki Hayabusa which became the fastest two-wheeled production machine that money could buy and of course Suzuki also gave us the beastly TL1000S. A 120bhp, 996cc, 90º V-twin, short-wheelbase bad boy that could have you on the back wheel as easily as it could dump you in a hedge. The controversial rear suspension set-up caused instability issues for an unlucky few but this didn’t stop the TLS from gaining cult status.

With such a dedicated following – especially in comparison with its later TL1000R fully-faired variant – it’s only right that it gets a 21st century virtual update. I give you the 150bhp TL1100S.
